Can you waterproof a bathroom over a suspended timber floor?
Yes — it is most of what we do in Ashgrove. A timber floor moves, so the sheeting has to be fixed and braced properly before anything wet goes near it, and the membrane needs a bond breaker at every junction so it can flex without splitting. Skip that and the floor works the membrane apart in a couple of years. We sheet, brace, form the falls and lay the membrane ourselves so there is nobody to blame but us.
